since i had my period (grade 6 pa), i always had this so called premenstrual cramps 2 days prior to onset and dysmenorrhea on the 1st and 2nd day!!! Imagine that!!! been suffering this for soooo long already… I find it hard to move around coz of the pain, that all i want it to lie in a fetal position all the time. My period is so not regular that i sometimes have it every other month and sometimes i don’t have it for 3 months followed by a very heavy flow…  maybe that explains the pain? u think so? As much as possible, I tried not to take some pain medications to do away of any potential side effects. I just hope this is nothing serious, nothing more than a contraction-induced pain.

Did you ever had this huge craving over something and been suffering from it for a long period of time? Well, i do… since last week, i have been craving to eat kare kare! i don’t exactly where. I don’t even know why i wanna eat it since the bagoong or the shrimp paste is not really for someone like me who is allergic to it. Today, my prayers have been answered. Finally! I had kare kare for lunch! it was the best! Shallow as it may seem but every spoonful feeding is satiety to the greatest level! Hmmm… Wonder what will i crave for next? will let you know! Ciao!

We can’t really please eveybody. I always have the feeling that i am never good enough whenever i am with this people. I hate the feeling. They are so much engrossed with the idea of seniority with out minding what juniors were capable of. Is it that they are just too stubborn to accept that we the juniors, young as we are, are capable of doing the things they do and the we can easily adapt to the new trends and changes in the modern world? Why can’t they just accept the fact that the world is evolving and that change is constant? sometime i would like to think it is just a crab mentality, seeing us juniors doing good in our respective jobs threatened their existence that they just wana make our lives miserable? I suggest that we co-exist harmoniously! our world is too small for divisions. is that too much to handle? hope not.

my friend and I tried on some despirate moves just to loose weight. Yesterday we attended an aeroclass. We had a great time dancing latin, hiphop, striptease and bellydancing. It was like a refresher course for us since we were able to perform some of this dances when we were still in college. We sweat our butt out dancing to flo rida’s low and pussycat doll’s button… after the session, still we were not contented and decided to attend the yoga-pilates class. Whew! yoga and pilates is not easy! it will really test the flexibility of your body. I felt like my bones and muscles are being stretched to their limits. I can say that i was really exhausted during the class to the point that i almost doze off during the cooling down stage. hahaha! piggy me!! But i can say that it was really worth a try… even if my whole body is aching now, i would still wanna try doing yoga seriously. Any tips for me? I would gladly appreciate it.

just a follow-up about my patient that i shared to you guys in my last blog.. Finally, she was discharge from our unit! after a close to renal dialysis procedure 2 days after her open heart surgery. She was able to step down to the ward with no chest tubes and other contraptions in her body. Indeed God is so good!! If we all put our faith in Him, nothing could go wrong.

                                   I went on duty last night. It was a toxic one. According to the endorsements, our patient, hours prior to her emergency surgery, was still talking with her friends in the ward. In a matter of 2 hours, her status drastically change from conscious state to semi coma state. She was not in good condition, she was ashened gray and has a breathing tube that sustained her prior to her stat OR procedure. Miraculously, after 6 hours of operating on her, with numerous blood transfusion and  medical intervention, she started to gain a blood pressure and her skin color slowly turns into pink and is showing evidence of adequate urine output. Whew! Thank God… But this doesn’t mean she’s out of danger anymore for we know that the first 24 hours of a post open heart patients are the most critical period in the recovery phase. We received her in the recovery room 3 hours past midnight. She was still intubated and sedated. Astoundingly, 30 mins after we received her, her blood pressure started to go up, and she started to move her extremities. This was a good sign that after all she has been through, she manifested no neurologic abnormalities. Praise God!

With what had happened. I realized that with just a snap of a finger we could loose our lives. So let’s make the most out of it… Give love, share love and live a life that is full of love for we will never know when our time will end. It is never too late. Let’s start now.

Im so glad to accomplish one thing today!… Finally, we got to pay the downpayment for our wedding gowns. it was fulfilling in a way since we really worked hard for it… Next in line will be our venue and caterer… Tomorrow will be talking to our videographer and photographer, hoping to avail some discount..keeping our fingers crossed  With the prices going up nowadays, a little discount means alot.

Four months to go before our big I dos yet we are still in the process of canvassing for the wedding details. Our reception venue is our biggest problem… We don’t want it to be in a ballroom, not to mention that it is very expensive since they are going to cater the food, which a food lover like me woulnt recommend if we’re talking about satiety. So now we are looking for clubhouse or garden venue that is accessible for our guests. Second in worry list is the food catering, we knew one caterer but they told me they can’t confirm yet so we are again looking for other prospects. hehehe… Third will the number of guest, since our wedding date is a holiday and near holyday, it will be difficult to fix the number of persons who will be attending our wedding. Last in our worry list will be the budget for airline tickets for my hubby’s family since they will be flewing in from zamboanga. All these major worries plus the minute details stresses me out! My friends were right, I’ll will get slimmer as the days drew near, unintentionally though.
